Management body
Huangshan Geopark Administrative Committee/ Huangshan Scenic Area Administrative Committee is the comprehensive body to totally manage Huangshan Scenic Area, Huangshan UNESCO Mixed Heritage Site, Huangshan UNESCO Global Geopark and Biosphere Reserve.
The
Commitee is approved by Anhui Provincial Government in 2012. It is developed
from Mt. Huangshan Construction Committee initially established in 1932.
Main duties
1. Conserving natural resources, listed heritage resources and the entire ecological environment they live on.
2. Formulating and implementing the sustainable development strategy and plan.
3. Improving the infrastructure and public service.
4. Coordinating the stakeholders and promoting the development of the community.
5. Constantly improving the brand influence and the comprehensive competence.
