Huangshan Scenic Area has launched a fire-hazard inspection campaign targeting small dining establishments.

To effectively safeguard people’s lives and property and prevent fire accidents, the Huangshan Scenic Area Safety Supervision Bureau, together with the fire department and electricity authorities, conducted a fire-hazard inspection at the Zhaixi New Transport Center. On site, officials pointed out safety risks to the managers, gave specific rectification suggestions and deadlines, and included the rectification results in the area’s hidden-hazard inspection system to form a full closed-loop process.

During the inspection, officials emphasized to restaurant managers the importance of ensuring safety in dining establishments. They required businesses to take full responsibility for production safety, strengthen daily safety management, conduct regular self-inspections, and provide proper safety training and emergency drills for employees. On site, they also promoted knowledge on responding to early-stage fires and organizing evacuations, further improving the safety awareness and self-rescue abilities of restaurant staff.
