Huangshan Geopark, in collaboration with the Huangshan Tour Guide Association, launched the “Caring for Tour Guides • Summer Cooling Support” initiative

Recently, as part of the “Better Service • Stronger Brand” tourism quality enhancement campaign, the Economic Development Bureau of the Huangshan Scenic Area (Geopark) Administrative Committee, in collaboration with the Huangshan Tour Guide Association and other organizations, launched the “Caring for Tour Guides • Summer Cooling Support” initiative. The event aimed to provide care for tour guides working in high temperatures by distributing supplies and offering kind reminders, contributing to the development of a world-class tourist destination.

On the day of the event, distribution stations were set up at locations such as the National Express Transit Center at the South Gate and the lower station of the Taiping Cableway at the North Gate. Specially prepared “cooling gift packs” were given to front-line tour guides working during the summer heat, with each guide receiving a pack upon presenting a valid tour guide certificate. A total of 220 cooling gift packs were distributed on the day of the event.
