On June 4, the Huangshan Scenic Area Administrative Committee and the Authority for the Protection and Management of Angkor and the Region of Siem Reap renewed their friendly cooperation agreement, marking another chapter in their “Dual Heritage Dialogue.”

During the signing ceremony, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as heritage conservation, eco-tourism, and intelligent management, jointly exploring new paths for regional cultural and tourism collaboration and promoting cooperation to a higher level.

Since the initial signing of the memorandum of friendly cooperation between Huangshan and Angkor in 2016, the two sides have maintained close exchanges and achieved fruitful results. This renewal follows the 2020 extension of the memorandum and represents a further deepening of cooperation and a strategic plan for future joint development. According to the agreement, the two sides will continue to strengthen international cooperation in areas such as innovation in heritage protection, sharing of tourism resources, and enhanced cultural exchanges, thereby fostering mutual trust and contributing to the friendship between China and Cambodia.
