The technical inspection of tourist roads in the Huangshan Global Geopark completed

Recently, the Huangshan Geopark Transportation Bureau, in collaboration with a professional team, completed a comprehensive inspection of four main tourist roads in the geopark after two weeks of work. This inspection covered core elements such as the road surface, tunnels, bridges, and culverts, and for the first time, load tests were conducted on three important bridges, filling a gap in the inspection process and enhancing the level of safety assessment.

According to the inspection results, the overall structure of the tourist roads in the geopark is stable, with all indicators meeting relevant safety standards, ensuring the smooth passage of visitors and the operational needs of the geopark.

Moving forward, the Transportation Bureau will continue to uphold the principle of “safety first, scientific management,” strengthening the daily maintenance, management, and monitoring of the tourist roads to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors and lay a solid foundation for the thriving development of the geopark’s tourism industry.
