Introduction of ChinaMountain Tourism Alliance


Goals

China Mountain Tourism Alliance (hereinafter referred toas CMTA) is a non-profit social organization approved by the former ChinaNational Tourism Administration, which covers the mountain scenic spots as itsmain body. Cooperated with mountain tourism industry, tourism academic circlesand tourism media, CMTA is the comprehensive innovative tourism organization onthe basis of voluntariness, equality, integrity and all-win principle.

Sticking to the concept of "co-building theplatform, creating the brand and sharing the value", CMTA would continuouslyenhance the protection of resources and environment and the manifestation ofthe history and culture, reinforce the community cooperation and thepublic  interaction, propel thescientific research and the international communication, deepen the productinnovation and the industry integration, in order to effectively promote thesustainable and inclusive development of China mountain tourism.


Organization Framework

The supreme authority of CMTA is Annual GeneralMeeting (AGM). Board of Directors is the decision executive institution. The executivechairman (rotating chairman) of Board of Directors shall be held by members byturns annually.

CMTA (Permanent) Secretariat is set to beresponsible for daily affairs. According to China Mountain Tourism AllianceRegulations, CMTA Secretariat is in the charge of Mt. Huangshan AdministrativeCommittee. The rotating chairman unit sets up CMTA (Annual) ExecutiveSecretariat. With the leadership of CMTA Board, CMTA Secretariat and ExecutiveSecretariat cooperate to deal with the routine work jointly.


Missions

Promoting Transformation ofDevelopment Mode

(1) Promote the intensive pattern of the mountaintourism development. Pay more attention to resources and environment protection,as well as culture inheritance and innovation.

(2) Promote the sustainable development of thesurrounding rural areas. Promote the joint development inside and outside themountain.

(3) Promote the transformation of traditional mountainsightseeing tourism products to pay equal attention to sightseeing tourismproducts, leisure tourism products and holiday tourism products.

(4) Promote the unity of the standardizationand individual and promote the excellent tourism development to the moreprecise management, humanistic service and participatory experience through CMTA'sinitiative.

Promoting Regional TourismCooperation

(1) Continue to improve the regional tourismcooperation mechanism. Establish interconnectivity tourist traffic, informationand tourism supermarketization products and service network.

(2) Constantly optimize regional tourism development environment.Construct the cooperation mechanism, such as the credit construction, and tourismemergency rescue.

(3) Raise the birth of the regional tourismcooperation body. Promote construction of the large regional tourismcooperation entity with practical efficiency and mutual benefit complying to "Internet+"trend and relying on the platform of CMTA.

Study and Discussion on Expansionof Development Space

(1) Study and discuss the development of thecharacteristic cultural tourism such as the festival tourism, the scientificinvestigation tourism and the pilgrimage tourism on the basis of the mountain’shistory and culture.

(2) Study and discuss the development of variousrecreational products such as sports tourism, health tourism, food tourism andetc. with the mountain resources.

(3) Study and discuss tourism product line extension,the extension of tourist stay time, tourism commodity consumption growth and theinclusive development of the surrounding rural tourism.

(4) Study and discuss the development trend of thetourism industry and the mountain tourism development strategies. Positively strivefor the policy support for mountain tourism development.

Expanding the International BrandInfluence

(1) Participate in the construction of nationaltourism promotion system jointly. Advance national tourism image promotion.CMTA members shall take part in well-known international tourism exhibitionsand important international tourism conferences.

(2) Attract foreign students and overseas youth of Chineserace to actively participate in the series of activities of Chinese mountainresearch study trip; develop the overseas "silver hair" market (theaged tourists market).

(3) Strengthen cooperation with relevant internationalorganizations. On the basis of CMTA Annual General Meeting, build MountainTourism Workshop of high quality so as to wonderfully show the brand image withsustainable and inclusive development ofChinamountain tourism in the world.
